What is
Static Site Generation (SSG)?

Pre-rendering web pages to HTML at build time, served as static files.

Definition

SSG generates all pages at build time and serves them as static HTML files from a CDN. The result is the fastest possible delivery — sub-100ms TTFB anywhere — but every content change requires a rebuild. Best for content that doesn't change every minute: marketing pages, docs, blogs, programmatic SEO.

Example

Vedwix's pSEO pages are SSG'd at build time — 1,300 static HTML files served from a CDN.

How Vedwix uses Static Site Generation (SSG) in client work
