The hierarchical structure of a site — how URLs and internal links are organized.

Good site architecture creates clear topical hubs, predictable URL patterns, and short click depth from the homepage to important pages. Poor architecture buries content too deep, fragments authority across too many sections, and makes faceted navigation hard for crawlers.

/services → /services/seo → /services/seo/programmatic-seo is clean; /pages/2025/services-page-23 is not.
